The Friends of Talbot Islands State Parks, Inc., established in 1997, is committed to raising awareness, funds, and volunteers for the Talbot Islands State Parks.  The Friends of Talbot Islands State Parks, Inc is a Florida Not For Profit corporation (EIN 59-3467037) and has been approved by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, charitable organization. 

The resources we collect are used to buy equipment for managing natural resources, training staff to conduct prescribed burning, fabricating interpretive signs for park trails and kiosks, holding volunteer appreciation events, and much more.

Membership is the primary source of income for our organization as well as a great vehicle for becoming involved in park volunteer opportunities. The Board of Directors is elected from the general membership and manages the financial and outreach activities of the Friends.
